WABA provides special events through out the year to help you, the consumer, make the right decision when buying a home, building a new home or remodeling your existing home.
The 2016 Spring Parade of Homes is a three-weekend event featuring 113 new homes built by the area's leading builders. Homes will be open from noon to 6 p.m. during the three weekends beginning Saturday, April 9, and ending Sunday, April 24. Homes range in price from $150,000 to more than $1.5 million.
"We encourage people to come and see what's new," said President and CEO of the Wichita Area Builders Association, Wess Galyon. "The customization options available when buying new really can't be matched."
Homes showcased are in the area's most desirable neighborhoods throughout the city of Wichita, Sedgwick County and surrounding communities, including Andover, Bel Aire, Derby, El Dorado, Kechi, Mulvane, Rose Hill and Valley Center.
"Interest rates remain near record lows and many communities are offering incentives and tax breaks," said Galyon. "Buying new delivers amazing value for the price paid."
During Parade hours, properties are staffed with Real Estate representatives who have up-to-the-minute information about available incentives. Literature detailing the features and specifications of the homes will be available. The free Spring Parade of Homes Magazine - which features a complete listing of all homes, home descriptions and a detailed map of locations - will be available in most grocery stores throughout Wichita and the surrounding areas beginning the week of April 4th and can also be downloaded by clicking below. Parade property routes are well marked with signage and banners.
"Thank you for looking new."
