The 2014 Spring Parade of Homes is a three-weekend event featuring 131 new homes built by the area's leading builders. Homes will be open from noon to 6 p.m. during the three weekends beginning Saturday, April 26, and ending Sunday, May 11. Homes range in price from $100,000 to more than $1.5 million.
"New homes have tremendous value, solid construction, and buyers can take advantage of enhanced energy saving features." said president and CEO of the Wichita Area Builders Association, Wess Galyon. "New home buyers are able to customize their home to fit their lifestyle in ways that can't be matched when buying an existing home."
Homes showcased are in the area's most desirable neighborhoods throughout the city of Wichita, Sedgwick County and surrounding communities, including Andover, Bel Aire, Colwich, Derby, Garden Plain, Goddard, Kechi, Maize, Newton, Rose Hill and Valley Center.
"Interest rates remain near record lows and many communities are offering incentives and tax breaks," said Galyon. "If you've been on the fence about buying a new home, it's time to start looking."
During Parade hours, properties are staffed with Real Estate representatives who have up-to-the-minute information about available incentives. Literature detailing the features and specifications of the homes will be available. The free Spring Parade of Homes Magazine - which features a complete listing of all homes, home descriptions and a detailed map of locations - will be available in most grocery stores throughout Wichita and the surrounding area beginning April 15, 2014. Parade property routes are well marked with signage and banners. The Parade of Homes Magazine and a searchable database of Parade homes are available on our website at wabahome.com
